Services

  • Helping you navigate anxiety, depression, and life transitions so you can feel calm, confident, and supported.

You’ve been struggling to get motivated to get things done, go to school, navigate transitions, or find enjoyment in life. You’ve been overthinking and having trouble sleeping. You’ve been feeling irritable and not getting along with those around you. You’re feeling unsure about your life goals and deciding what’s next for you.

With individual therapy, I’ll help you to feel less isolated, more confident, motivated, better able to handle daily struggles, and more like yourself again.

    My approach:

I utilize a collaborative, client-centered and experiential approach including expressive arts, play, sand tray, mindfulness, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy). These are evidence-based forms of therapy developed specifically to treat symptoms of an anxiety, depression, and dealing with life stressors. When I use these approaches with kids, teens, and young adults, I start by building connections and help empower you to develop confidence and healing.

  • Helping you navigate past trauma so you can experience freedom from difficult memories, deal with anger and stress, stop feeling stuck, and move toward future goals.

You’ve been struggling to deal with difficult things that have happened in the past, you haven’t been sleeping well, you get angry and upset easily, and you can’t seem to get thoughts and memories out of your head.

With EMDR therapy, I’ll help you process stressful and traumatic experiences so you can get unstuck and feel better in your mind and body.

    My approach:

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy is an evidence-based therapy developed to treat symptoms of trauma through the use of bilateral movements to help you get past stressful memories that are stuck in your mind and body. When I use EMDR with kids, teens, and young adults, I start by building a sense of safety and work with you to get memories unstuck so you can feel calm and heal from the past.

  • Helping you navigate parenting challenges, conflict, and communication difficulties so you are better able to support your child and experience improved relationships and develop skills to manage struggles when they arise.

You’ve been struggling to communicate with your child or know how to help them when big emotions surface. You feel frustrated because you want to help your child but you’re not sure where to start.

With parenting support, I’ll help you feel confident and supported in parenting to promote better communication and reduce conflict at home. I’ll help you develop skills to effectively calm and support your child through stress and life transitions.

    My approach:

I use a collaborative and strengths-based approach to walk alongside you to help empower you to build better relationships and help you and your child and manage difficult circumstances and big emotions.

How it Works

Click the “Book a Session” button to get started and find a time that works for you for a free 15-minute consultation.

If we’re a good fit to work together, we’ll schedule an intake session.  In this session, we’ll discuss goals and how we will work together to work toward these goals.

We’ll then meet weekly for 45-60 minute sessions.  I am available for Telehealth in Arizona and Minnesota. I offer in-person sessions in Burnsville and Wayzata, Minnesota, including sand tray and play therapy.
